So, Hi! 👋

Blog-4.8.png

It has been so long since I've blogged traditionally that my computer had no idea how to get back here. Frankly, that's upsetting for both me and my computer. (We don't like inefficiencies). BUT I'm here to tell you that really, everything is going well. If you've followed our adventures over on Instagram or Twitter you'll know just how well things are. Better yet, if you'd found our new podcast then you'll definitely know how we're doing!

For those of you who are readers first, let me break it down for you.

Hubs: He's got a new leadership position at work and he's rockin' the reselling side-hustle (much to the dismay of our ever-filled-basement-storage-space). This guy of ours is quite literally working day AND night to provide a great life for us and he'll never know how much we truly appreciate him.

Bubba: 5. That's all I can say right now is 5. We have a big birthday coming up and we will officially have a 5-year-old. We have been parents for 5 years which is only slightly crazier than saying that we have THREE kiddos. Eek! Bubba is doing well in preschool, registered for FULL DAY Kindergarten next year, he's started Taekwondo and he excels in getting his sister to shriek.

Tiny Dancer: (Formerly Little Bear) I think we should rename her today. We're going to go with Tiny Dancer now. She's all spunk, sass, and sweetness these days. Our dancer loves a good snuggle when she's feeling quiet and man does she have a set of pipes when she's feeling spunky. She's got enough attitude to cover all three tiny people in this house and then some. She's got a dance recital under her belt and asks us weekly if she has "another one today." In all honesty, she really just wants to get flowers again after her performance, but who can blame her?

Groot: He's a-growin' for sure. As a mom, I think I get a pass for saying he's the 'best baby ever,' at least out of our three. He's very chill, easy to please and quick to learn. At 7.5 months he's already army crawling, experimenting with his two new bottom teeth & solid foods and shows an affinity for pulling on necklaces. Oh and he loves to giggle.

Me: I'm doing well too! Working, mommin' and learnin' every day. I've recently misplaced about 25 pounds (on purpose) in my search for a healthier me. Enter the "Year of Self-Care" and in April it's still going strong. I've finally realized the truth in "you can't be your best self until you're the best for yourself." A better me means a better we!

You'll be seeing more of me around these parts. I've missed chatting with you and want to pick that back up. Like a bestie from college, I'd like to be able to pick back up where we left off if you wouldn't mind. I'll even include updated photos as penance for my disappearance.

Be Great,

M
